The Annual California Biomedical Industry Report illustrates the important roles biomedical research, development, and manufacturing play in California’s economy and ultimately in the nation’s health. The report provides an overview of employment trends, wages, the product development pipeline, and opportunities and risks for the industry in California, home to the largest concentration of biomedical companies in the world. CHI, in partnership with BayBio and PwC, publishes the report annually in print and on an interactive website that is regularly updated with industry data, news and accomplishments. In Irvine, the report will be launched following a breakfast buffet. A panel of biomedical executives will be on hand to discuss the industry report findings.
