About Assemblymember Salas:
Rudy Salas was elected in November 2012 to represent California’s 32nd Assembly District, which includes Bakersfield, Hanford, Corcoran, Delano, Lemoore, Shafter, and Wasco. Before being elected to the Assembly, Salas was a fellow in the State Capitol where he worked for the Assembly Majority Leader on a variety of issues. He went on to be a district director for the Senate Majority Leader. He is a member of the New Democrats and has been a good friend of the industry.
