CHI/UCSF Discussion with Energy & Commerce Committee Member Rep. Diana DeGette

Join CHI and UCSF for a Policy Discussion with Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.)
October 17, 2014
UCSF – Parnassus Campus

Last April, House Energy & Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) and Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) formally announced the launch of their “21st Century Cures” initiative aimed at accelerating the pace of biomedical innovation and cures by modernizing federal research and regulatory policies. The Committee is working with federal research and regulatory agencies, along with private sector stakeholders – including CHI and our members – to identify existing barriers to advancing biomedical innovation and to modernize research and regulatory frameworks to better accommodate new science and technologies and bring these discoveries to patients sooner.

CHI is proud to partner with UC San Francisco to provide a health policy lecture with Rep. DeGette at the UCSF Parnassus Campus on October 17, 2014.

1:00 – 2:00 p.m. – UCSF Chancellor’s Health Policy Lecture Series with Rep. DeGette
Participation in the lecture is open to all CHI members.
