CHI to Launch 2010 California Biomedical Industry Report Feb. 2 in Sacramento
Submitted on:
12.17.2009
CHI invites you to save the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 2, to attend the launch of the 2010 California Biomedical Industry Report at the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento. Released by CHI and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the report will provide an overview of employment trends, wages, product development, and opportunities and risks for the industry in California, home to the largest concentration of biomedical companies in the world. The event will highlight profiles from the report in an interactive setting. At this year’s dinner, CHI will also honor two members of the California Assembly with CHI’s Advancing Biomedical Research and Innovation Award: Assembly Member Jerry Hill (D-San Mateo), Chairman of the Assembly Select Committee on Biotechnology, and Assembly Member Nathan Fletcher (R-San Diego), Vice-Chairman of the Assembly Select Committee on Biotechnology. Both legislators have actively partnered with the CHI membership to promote state policies that improve the business climate in California; foster the development, commercialization and market for new medical products; and maintain a highly skilled workforce. We hope you can join legislators and CHI members in Sacramento as we reflect on 2009 and set a path for prosperity for the biomedical industry in 2010.
Cost to attend is $100 for CHI members; $150 for guests and the RSVP deadline is Friday, January 22.
