CHI Urges Support for Eshoo Biosimilars Amendment

On Friday, CHI submitted a letter to Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (D-Atherton) supporting her proposed biosimilars amendment to healthcare reform legislation under consideration in the House Energy & Commerce Committee. The amendment, which incorporates elements of her stand-alone biosimilars bill (HR 1548) and the amendment adopted with overwhelming bipartisan support at the recent Senate HELP Committee healthcare reform mark-up, would provide for 12 years of data exclusivity.
