Michael Onuscheck

Michael Onuscheck, President of the Neuromodulation Division of Boston Scientific, has been part of the medical device industry for over 15 years. A graduate in Business Administration and Psychology from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pa, Michael has developed broad skills across the medical device industry. In 2001, he left Medtronic after a nine year career in spinal reconstructive surgery and stereotactic image guided surgery to join the Auditory Division of Advanced Bionics. During this time he led the sales, services, technical service and customer service organizations. In 2004, he was selected to lead the commercial launch of the Precision™ Spinal Cord Stimulator for intractable pain, and started the Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) business of Boston Scientific.
Over the course of three years, Boston Scientific has become the technological leader in the field of Spinal Cord Stimulation and has begun to evaluate other possible neurosurgical applications of the Precision™ System. Today, his teams are responsible for the research, development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and customer service for all Boston Scientific Neuromodulation products.
Michael and his wife, Lisa, have three children — daughter Hailey 11, son Kellan 9 and daughter Alexis 7. The family lives in Stevenson Ranch, California.
