Marcea B. Lloyd has been senior vice president of government and corporate affairs and general counsel for Amylin Pharmaceuticals since February 2007. Prior to joining Amylin, Lloyd served as group senior vice president, chief administrative officer, general counsel and secretary for VHA Inc. Other leadership positions she has held include vice president and assistant general counsel of Medtronic, Inc. and counsel to Pillsbury Company and Montgomery Ward & Co. Lloyd has taught business law at the University of Minnesota Business School. She also serves as an associate of the Women Business Leaders of the United States Health Care Industry Foundation and is an immediate past chairwoman of the Executive Leadership Foundation. Lloyd earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Knox College and her law degree from Northwestern University.
