David Wilson Wilson has served as worldwide president of Mentor Worldwide LLC, part of the Johnson & Johnson family reporting through Ethicon Inc., since September 2010. Wilson joined Ethicon in 2007 as worldwide vice president of biosurgicals for Johnson & Johnson Wound Management. Prior to his roles at Ethicon, Wilson served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Cordis, including roles as vice president, Lower Extremity, Renal and Venous Diseases and vice president of new product development and as regional sales director. Prior to joining J&J in 1996, Wilson was with the start-up company Cohesion Corp. in Palo Alto, Calif. Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University, a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master’s of business administration from Columbia University. He holds numerous patents and was awarded the Johnson Medal for the creation of the Cordis Self-Expanding Stent System in 2001.
