As head of the Specialty Medicine Bayer, Hans Bishop oversees the development and commercialization of a diverse portfolio of products for treating diseases involving blood coagulation and thrombosis.

Mr. Bishop has more than 18 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Prior to joining Bayer, he was the Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Chiron Corporation Ltd. Mr. Bishop also served in roles of increasing responsibility that included sales & marketing as well as business development at Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham. He also spent four years as the Executive Vice President of Operations with a global telecom service company, where he managed nine subsidiaries on three continents, before facilitating the sale of the company in 2004.
