Scott Allen

Scott Allen joined CHI as legislative assistant in CHI’s Sacramento office in April 2010. Before joining CHI, Allen served as an Assembly Fellow and legislative aide for Assembly Member Wilmer Amina Carter (D-Rialto), a former member of the Assembly Health Committee. During his fellowship, he advised the assembly member on health, energy, water and environmental policy and staffed several of her bills. Prior to his work with the California Legislature, Allen interned for a non-profit environmental organization and worked as a student journalist at California State University, Sacramento.

He is a native of Sutter Creek, Calif. In his spare time Allen enjoys watching horror movies, reading, following the San Francisco 49ers’ long journey back to the Super Bowl and traveling the world.
